Stephan Petitbourgeois, chief accountant in a department store and his Isabelle wife lodge in their apartment a large family: their daughter Stalemate, her husband : Hubert and their nine children, in ten years of marriage. Stephan learns that a price will be decreed with the youngest grandfather having twelve grandchildren. Alas Pat remains obstinately sterile. However the fateful date day before (its 50 years age limit), it puts at the world triplets and Stephan can touch her 20 million.
