♦ Synopsis :

Jean Renneval, actor growing old, but however beautiful, allured Therese Verdier, a spectator. It fixes appointment at it to him, after the dinner, her husband : Henri having to leave on a journey. With the dinner, this last tells with his wife and her Henriette friend how its two preceding wives have it cocufié. Luce with sound double Hector and Juliette with sultan of Hammanlif. Having missed sound train, it returns at his place and finds the actor in his bed. Renneval having covered its costume of cardinal, the husband misled convinces to accept this third cocufiage.
