♦ Synopsis :

A woman moves of a pressed step towards the station of Montargis to take a train for Paris. It is Madeleine Lemoine who has just killed her husband. Having missed its train, it accepts the offer of François Malard, captain of the barge "the Lullaby" to bring it in Paris on its boat. As of the first glances, young people loved each other, under the envieux eye of the Jeanjean sailor. Strong on this love, "Mado" decides to be delivered to the police force. Malard will await it.
