♦ Synopsis :

In a fun fair, a leader of play attracts the idlers and famous for them the 7 capital sins :

  • 1 : An owner, Mr. Alvaro, whose woman is irascible, refuses a time with the one of his tenants, Edouardo, which cannot pay its rent. The last anger of the wife will make it possible to the tenant to discharge his debt.
  • 2 : Once more, the men manufacture machines ever more more fatal ; Saint Pierre sends on ground the Idleness to moderate their heat. The world falls then into the lethargy. The saint must come him even among the men to ask the Idleness to moderate his heat. Balance is then restored.
  • 3 : The first agitations of a teenager, Chantal, who believes itself pregnant, bring closer that which it believes being her seducer, Ravila, and its mother, Mrs. Bianca, beautiful the landlord.
  • 4 : Lodged for the night by a couple of peasants, a doctor of countryside, Antonin, are invited, after the supper during which it extremely appreciated an excellent cheese, to divide the layer of its hosts.   • 5 : Camille a young Frenchwoman jealous of the affection that her husband Olivier, a painter, carries to his she-cat, throws cat-like top of a terrace. Realizing that his wife is envieuse, the painter separates from it.
  • 6 : Reverses of fortune fell down on Mrs. de Pallières and her Anne-Marie daughter. The latter, guest with a reception, refuses to lend itself to the excavation which follows the flight of a jewel, then it throws its bag in which one discovers some sandwiches that it had subtilized to bring them to her mother. The found jewel, it leaves the ball proudly.
